Costume

Everyone has a costume. Under that costume is the actual person that you want to be. Under that costume is all the things that you wish you had the guts to say. Under that costume is your true self.

So why do you wear a costume over that? You wear a costume to please society. To be liked by society. You wear a costume because it’s much easier to deal with. You wear a costume because you don’t see anyone else taking off theirs.

But let me tell you something. When no one is doing it that’s the perfect opportunity for you to be the first to do it. Make a big change and soon enough nobody will be wearing a costume.
